The Research and Development District (RaDD) stands as downtown San Diego's latest cutting-edge life science mixed-use project. Spanning eight acres and six city blocks, it will become the largest urban commercial waterfront site on California's Pacific coast. Designed by visionary architects at Gensler, RaDD features a dynamic urban life science campus with mid-rise structures and a stunning 17-story tower. Ground-floor retail, restaurants, a public paseo, roof decks, and green spaces will create an inviting and vibrant community hub. While meeting the developers, I captured photography of the model renderings and shot construction videos to utilize in videography and production assets for print, showcasing this transformative project.
